The idea behind Chinese Melodies came about after hearing Gerald Garcia’s CD recording of Chinese songs arranged for violin and guitar. We had the great pleasure to work on these arrangements with Gerald and, in anticipation of the Chinese New Year, we first performed them at the Islington Chinese Association.
